As of today, I have had my LJ for ten years. This entry will make 2,680... an average of 3/4s of a post per day, but not so many of them recently, alas. (Clearly I used to be much chattier.) I thought I'd have something profound or at least entertaining to say, but I kinda don't. *tilts head* It is what it is.
I leave you with this: an apartment in the next building over from mine keeps a caged parakeet on its back porch. Saturday morning when I left to do laundry, there were a half-dozen small birds -- chimney swifts, I think -- perched on the porch railings, watching it. So were they mocking their caged brethren... or plotting a jailbreak?
