I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere today. I have the ghost of a headache (Mojitos last night, I guess) and it's a dark and stormy evening- at 8:30 am!
My duct work is about half finished, the repairman said he would come back today and finish it.
One of the things I have to do this weekend is make a "Jazzy Jar" for Emily's school's Winter Carnival. It's a jar filled with something- candy, hair bows, plastic soldiers, buttons etc. I decided I would make one of quilting fabric scraps. Large ones, old things and new things and all kinds of quilter's fabric such as any crafter would find awesome. So, while we were waiting for the manager to get into my store so he could write me a paid out for my back pay (which has been owing since May!) Emily and I ran down to Sew Be It quilting store in Ringgold. (I thought I'd pick up some really new fat quarters for our Jazzy Jar plus I just like fabric shopping.) Look what I found!
I got one panel for the jar and another for me! I don't know what I will do with it- Van Gogh is not my favorite painter by any means- but I just couldn't resist those colours!
I have really got to finish more quilts in less time or I'm never going to make all the ones I want to.
