So beautiful. I love the color blending here, and I love the leaves at the edge. This type of quilt I would love to hang on a wall as opposed to a bed.
This is a kit that is supposed to be machine pieced. It would go together very quickly for you, I'm sure. Being relatively small, it would also take you less time...
Am I trying to talk you into picking up quilting? Sort of... you seem to be interested and I think you would like it!
Actually, I've pieced two quilts already, but chickened out (ran out of time) on piecing them, so I tied them both. I made a small pink-and-blue sampler quilt for my niece when she was 6 or so (she's 19 now!)and a huge quilt of squares with autumn leaves fabrics for my then-boyfriend now-husband. :.) The best part of this quilt is that one of the fabrics looks like a spider web, so I embroidered a cool spider on one of the webs. Also, I pieced in a log cabin in the very center of the quilt. It was a huge project, but a labor of love!
I do want to get back into quilting, but that won't happen until I finish school. I even have a box of fabric ready to go! :P
