1. What are your nicknames?
Gretchen plus a lot more... the list was huge when I was 16 and has only gotten longer since then.
2. Would you rather die suddenly with no pain but no prep time or die with some pain but time to prepare?
I'd rather have time... not for me but for people that care about me.
3. If you're single what do you most miss about being in a relationship?
Snuggles.
4. How many colors are you wearing now?
One: White.
5. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Introvert
6. What was the last book you read?
Tales of Beetle the Bard last night.
7. Let's play everybody's favorite game...what would you do if you won the lottery?
Finish my house, sock some away for the girl's future and reduce my hours at work so I could cook more, volunteer more and spend more time addressing Emily's issues.
8. Do you like snow?
Yes... though a double paned window with lots of heat!
9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Yes... a lot of my friends are having hard times and there isn't a damned thing I can do to help them. This makes me very unhappy.
10. What was the last thing you ate today?
Too early to eat yet on a Saturday!
11. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
If it's just me, 10 minutes. If I have to get Emily ready too... about an hour.
12. What websites do you visit daily?
Hotmail, Yahoo mail... anything else is optional.
13. What's your job?
Cashier, Mom and general helper.
14. Do you like to clean?
I do not like to clean but I do a LOT of it because I like having things clean and tidy.
15. What do you want for Christmas?
For me personally, I want quilting time. In general, I want food and housing costs to drop like a rock, I want the Detroit 3 to be de-unionized and I want people to realize that making $20 an hour beats the hell out of being unemployed and that if you run your company out of business with your outrageous demands, that's what you'll be... unemployed.
16. What are you doing right now?
Catching up with friend's journals and planning Christmas Baking Day!
17. Who was your childhood idol?
J R R Tolkien... and my Dad to a lesser degree (I lived with him... I knew he had faults)
18. What would you do if you see $100 lying on the ground?
See if I could find out who lost it.
19. What is your dream car?
Smart Car! Well, that's what I actually want... my dream car is an old VW bug with barefoot pedals and tons of decals... or a perfectly restored 1929 mercedes convertible in BRG with cordovan interior and lots of shiny wood.
