zonked.
I went ice-skating with Shingpei for like 2 hours straight just now and I'm mad tired now. But it was au sm though; I've been a huge couch potato the past month and it's good to get my ass out of the house and do some exercise for once.
I totally suck compared to Shingpei though; she goes at breakneck speed even though it doesn't seem that fast and she can balance perfectly! I can balance (to an extent) too but I keep jerking back and forth cos I'm always on the verge of slipping. Usually I manage to recover in time but this time I slipped and since SP and I were holding hands she inadvertently dragged me along the ice for like 2 seconds XD SP is so mum-ish; she pulled me along when I was tired and skated while dragging this huge load behind her~ She even dusted the ice off me when I fell LOL.
The rink was super crowded and WAS FILLED WITH PROS. There was this guy with hockey skates (I think) who WHIZZED around the rink. Jesus, how do they balance and go so quickly at the same time! They were like double/triple SP's speed. I bow in deference. Just kidding I don't.
Crowded rink also= loadsa kids. Shingpei was going mad over the angmohs while I almost crashed into two of them. The first one fell on the floor RIGHT IN MY PATH and scared me to death. Me being the clumsy ass that I am, just lifted my leg over him/her and veered out of control after I dodged him/her XD thank god the wall was there heehee. The second was a kid holding the bar for first-time skaters and she was headed right in my direction too (can yoo believe me luck). My ah-mazing reflexes kicked into action and I grabbed the bar, kind of pushed her/ myself out of the way (somehow that sounds really violent but I swear it isn't) and SP broke my fall by grabbing my hand when I, once again, veered out of control =_=
Well looking I was thinking I pretty much suck at skating. But then again, there are people who can't skate at all so I guess I don't suck all that much teehee. No offence to those who can't skate.
Job interview tomorrow after getting postponed two days, wish moi luck :o
