Ding! Dong!
I just had to post my jubilation. It is now official.
My boss is GONE!!
Well, technically, he's already left. He decided to take a week's worth of vacation, then turned in his resignation (apparently, since he didn't actually tell anyone at the hotel he was leaving).
So, he's not coming back and the change around here has been drastic. No one's looking over their shoulders or fearing to look in their mailboxes to see what new passive aggressive note they've got today. Life is good!!
Now, we'll just have to see what happens when the regional director gets here. With luck, she won't be here very long. Then, hopefully, the AGM and I will both have a promotion!
