*grins* I like a bit of depth, although I agree, being metaphorically somewhere above the Mariana Trench doing doggy-paddle isn't great...

Mostly I think I'm not so good at interacting with people who don't *create* unless I'm given a good swathe of common ground like larp or a close mutual friend, because otherwise I'm left just a bit confused, looking for the segment of them that's artistic or unhinged and passionate and wondering where the hell it is or what the hell it does. (I know that you don't have to be artistic to be creative or passionate {or unhinged}, it's just easier to see that way =)

I've just read that paragraph back and am aware both that it makes little sense and that I know exactly what i mean. Tsk.

Ah, no, see there are some friends who I like very much, but it will always take a little while for us to warm up as it were, and the longer the absence the more rusty our interaction is likely to be. But some friends it doesn't matter if I see them every day for a week or only once in three years, we'll be perfectly at ease in both silence and conversation and fit together like corresponding jigsaw pieces. Hence my scrabbling for a new adjective!

Anyways, how's you're life dear boy?

One of these fridays I'll get to attend your dvd/pizza/gaming/random evenings =)
