Hello darlings...

I thought I should try to update with some shiny things just to prove that I'm not a miserable bitch and my life isn't an unmitigated disaster - or at least not all the time =)

I have just invoiced James for £160. Yes, invoiced, with a proper invoicey-page-thing with a logo and an (unregistered) company name and everything. It makes me happy. Not just the £160, but more the fact I'm getting money - real proper cash - for all the weird shit that lives in my head. Wheeeeeeee!

The script is currently on draft 0.5, which is to say, it's finished and tidied up but could probably do with editing so we shan't call it a 1st draft just yet.

To give you an idea of its flavour, I shall type here the opening prologue. Imagine it narrated over a black screen after the Title and cert. card has been shown. The narrator is probably Ian Mckellen, but may well be some other old-school english actor of your choice...

"I am reliably informed that the oldest soul to live on this planet reached the grand age of one hundred and twenty two years old... Without wishing to sound belittling, I must inform you that members of any Clan believe three hundred years to be a good innings, with three hundred and fifty being exceptional. But then again, I saw Queen Elizabeth the First ascend the throne in 1558... Which shows what you know, doesn't it?"

=)

Once more fair readers I must request your aid. There are two factions at work within the plot, and they are - in the broadest possible terms - the good guys and the bad.
Currently, in the script characters ally themselves with 'the Light' or 'the Dark'. But frankly this is old hat and sucks.
Just as WW made up the 'Camarilla' and the 'Sabbat' I need to make up two terms that embody 'lawful and principled' and 'unethical fekker'.
It would be really good if the words made sense so your average person could immediately grasp that one was good and one bad. On the other hand, if someone happens to know some esoteric and random ancient terms that could in any way be applied, they'd be good too. (Or some latin and greek or babylonian or something, that would work...)

Come on - it's not like you go to work to work anyways.... =)
