Oh, for crying out loud, why can no one ever get this:

EXCALIBUR WAS NOT THE SWORD IN THE STONE! THE SWORD IN THE STONE WAS JUST AN ORDINARY BLADE THAT WAS BROKEN BY THE BROWN KNIGHT. EXCALIBUR WAS A GIFT FROM THE LADY OF THE LAKE.

Excalibur was NOT the sword in the stone. The sword in the stone was just a really cool sword that later got broken by the brown Knight. Excalibur was given to Arthur by the lady of the lake.

Why can't movie/cartoon/comic/book adaptions ever get this point right?
