So I am in Pensacola now for the rest of July, and into August. Every time I come back to visit for more than three days it reminds me why I can never live here again. I really hope things work out with your car. And FSU is retarded. Completely. They're giving me all kinds of shit and hoops to jump through before they'll give me my scholarship. And now they're threatening no tuition waiver. Stuuuupid.

As for the movies, I enjoyed Superman, and found Pirates adequate. I admit, I've never read a single comic book. So, I see these movies based off of comic books with no knowledge of how well they are translated to film, or how true to the comic book series they are. However, I really enjoyed Superman, mostly for Kevin Spacey and Parker Posey. In my opinion, Spacey did a superb job, far surpassing Hackman's Luthor. But, that's just my opinion. I agree the about the script and Kate Bosworth. But, there was enough cool effects and other things in the movie, that I felt it wasn't a waste of my $8.50.

Pirates, on the other hand, was pretty meh. The first callback to the rum joke was amusing. The following 50, however, were just annoying. Aside from the lack of character development, I also hated the fact that we got NO closure whatsoever. I think that pissed me off more than anything.

Let me know is Clerks II is any good. I'm on the fence about seeing it.

wow, this is one long-ass comment. Sorry.
