I broke my phone. Just took a super cute picture of Maddie and it slipped out of my hand and landed on the asphalt flat on it's screen. The back popped off and the battery fell out. I thought, "Shoot." Picked it up, and put it all aback together. Unfortunately it decided that it was dead. The computer part is all ok, it made the right booting-up sounds, but the screen isn't working. It's not cracked, and the touch-screen is operational, I can open apps and stuff (or at least it sounds like I'm opening things) but the screen just shows static, or "snow" like on an old-skool tv when the signal is gone.
I tried to re-boot it a few times with no luck at all.
Joe is going to kill me when he wakes up. This is the 2nd phone that I've broken in the last 17 months. The first one we got when we started our plan, this one I bought with graduation money to replace the first one, and now I've got no income and no looming holidays/birthdays/graduations with which to pay for another phone.
I've decided to do online surveys for cash. It may take a while to earn what I need for a new phone, but it's better than having Joe flip out because I'm spending his diminished paycheck on another new phone.
If anyone wants to help give me a boost would you mind signing up on this site? It's mentioned as a legitimate survey-for-cash site on several different news websites and blogs. It took me about 5 minutes to register, so it's not too demanding. And hey, you could try to earn a little extra for your pocket in the mean-time, right?
