I was on a new night elf warrior, and people were complaining that the quest that Tarindrella comes and kills spiders for you was buggy, that she wouldn't do it. I got up to the quest, and it was buggy for me, too! So I opened a ticket. The next day I get this in my email.

Good news.... however...

While I was unable to get any estimations due to privacy restrictions for when they hope to have their findings concluded

Privacy restrictions, I really hope this is just a translation issue not not a real excuse from Blizzard. I'm sure Blizz have a policy regarding the release of internal development timescales, that's fine. However there are no privacy concerns here. None.

It's Blizzard's privacy, not the user's, that is an issue. Reps are not permitted to tell a user how long it will take to fix something like this, because if there are any setbacks or changes in the schedule, the rep (and by extension, the programmers and other teams involved) are suddenly liable for giving inaccurate information to users. This is why they give vague responses like "as soon as possible" and "near future".

Completely understand but it's not a privacy concern, it's a corporate information concern but not privacy (which is the catchall get out for Blizz for just about everything)
