Authenticator Issue
While toon hopping, I got disconnected from the server. No biggie, I've noticed that happens to me once in a while. It kicked me out all the way to the login screen, so I typed my email name and password in and grabbed my authenticator...... only to be logged in without needing to use my authenticator to do so.
The first time, I thought maybe I had put my token number in and just done it so automatically I hadn't even processed it. However, I was sufficiently creeped out to log back out to do it again. I reentered my email and password a second time.... and logged in without having to authenticate. I logged all the way back out, exited and started the game up anew because I was seriously panicing at this point. Once again, I was not prompted for my authenticator.
So, I assumed the worst, that I had somehow been hacked with an authenticator on my account and someone had taken it off. I rushed to my email and checked the inbox and spam boxes but saw nothing from Blizz. I then went to battle.net and logged in. This time, I was prompted to use my authenticator. Blizz still shows an authenticator attached to my account.
So, am I just panicing over nothing? Anyone else ever had anything simular happen?
ETA: It's allegedly working as intended. However, +10 hours later, I just logged in and wasn't prompted for my authenticator. This is wierd and creepy and is making me wonder why I bought and authenticator, when I could have gotten a Big Mac instead.
