There are quite few Elders in Northrend that are relatively easy to solo for most classes. I have done it on both a retritbution paladin, shadow priest and an assassination rogue who are all level 85. I might go in on my pally withn his prot spec/gear and see if I can do this :3 I never tried actually, haha. But now it's another mount to farm for. YOU'VE CREATED A MONSTER.

You don't want to ice block as a mage, you want to invis as a mage. Ice Block will just make you immune, not drop combat & reset the mobs.

I've been doing this event with my rogue friend, so hopefully we'll be alright (I'm a hunter, so...). Thanks for the guide, though, it's really useful to know where these guys are!

My rogue was fine and a guildie went in on his hunter and soloed everything as well, so it shouldn't be any trouble :)

Also yer welcome! I didn't see one posted for this year so I figured I would write one up rather than having a ton of posts here on how to do it XD

When I saw you were working on this I got pretty excited to read it, I've got a lot of alts that still need this title and it'd be easier to do it alone than try to find other people to help. XD

Hahaha where, in my RealID status? I was trying to focus and it was the one night everyone was so damn chatty, lol. Took five hours to get done because I couldn't focus XDDD

It was the pingpong of AIM windows and Gtalk windows with OMG LOOK AT THIS and links to Tumblr when I'M TRYING TO SNEAK AROUND MOBS THAT WILL OTHERWISE SEE THROUGH STEALTH. Or you know, nom my face while I'm tabbed out XD

I might've taken a few trips to Tim Hortons because I was dying for a french vanilla and I've very little attention span.

Haha, sometimes when LJ reloads after a comment, it only shows the comment being posted or the thread/parent, which would hide other comments. I've noticed it a lot lately myself.
