Really? Over a pumpkin?
Maybe I handled this situation poorly... :(
So yesterday afternoon I got the cooking daily involving grabbing pumpkins from the little farm area in Stormwind.
I head there and drop down and wait for things to load before grabbing my first pumpkin. I turn to grab another and there's a dwarf warrior right there. I waited for a moment and he appeared to be AFK so I went to grab the pumpkin nearby but he looted it instead. Alright!
Head to the next one and I see he's asked me in /say "Why did you land next to me"
I replied with a "Why not? Ha ha. :)" and then I begin to explain that he hadn't loaded on my screen until after I'd already landed but before I was able to he replies with "i guess your a f**" and puts me on ignore.
I thought that was wildly inappropriate (especially to get so defensive about a daily that takes all of a minute or so to do even with people there) so I did something I normally don't do and I went to his guild leader to complain. At the time I was thinking, "If it were me I wouldn't want someone like that in my guild."
His guild leader was amazingly nice and claimed that they would take the appropriate actions for which I was very thankful.
Imagine my surprise when my boy and I were doing the dailies for the Wildhammer (I loves me some tatoo'd dwarves!) and the warrior above is there. Under another guild tag. Call me vicious but I have to admit that that made my morning.
Right up until he said in /say:
"oh its the scumbag"
"why dont you go back to your home on whore island"
"scumbag"
And flew off on his shiny Time Lost Proto.
I and my boy threw up GM tickets after that (and I hope something in the form of a temporary ban at least comes of it) but it made me wonder. Honestly? Who thinks it's alright to talk to people like this? Ever? What sort of person thinks that this line of dialogue is clever?
Was I right to have gotten involved in his guild situation? I almost feel guilty for that.
But if there is anyone here from the guild Precedence on Sen'jin? You have my utmost thanks for the speedy handling of this guy!

I recently upgraded my chest piece with a questionable one (The Emberfire Robe). I was originally wearing a Spiritmend Robe but noticed that not only does this robe have a lot more Intellect (so more SP and Mana) but it had a lot of desperately needed Spirit. I took a slight hit to my Haste rating but I have barely noticed the difference.
Am I silly for it? :(
