Loot! It's all about the shinies!
My guild has mostly been a social guild since it was formed. My guildies and I used to play on a MUD together for years and started playing on the same WoW server and made the guild to share resources and have a place to chat.
We currently have a core group of 7 who are geared well enough to run ICC 10's so We've decided to recruit a few more folks to fill the group and try to actually down the Lich King before Cataclysm comes out. A couple of tanks and a shammy is pretty much all we need.
So in preparation for doing this we were trying to work out what loot distribution system to use. Loot council, DKP and suicide kings were the options that we had come up with. Mostly we want something that's going to be fair, easy, non-drama-inducing and will take less time to decide who gets what faster than it took to down the boss. So the discussion pretty much narrowed it down to suicide kings as the preferred choice.
I looked through previous posts in the community and didn't really see any discussions regarding anyone using suicide kings to distribute loot so I thought I would ask you ladies (and gents!) if you've had any experience using it or have any other systems that you'd recommend.
Also, if anyone is interested in joining our little guild to run some ICC 10's we're more than happy to have more friends! :) (Thunderhorn/US/Horde: Axis of Anarchy)
