Hi everyone, thanks for all the feedback on the last couple of raiding posts. It looks like we have a decent idea of where everyone stands and we're going to start moving ahead with things now

In regards to question two, I voted for minimum DPS numbers for everyone, but after reading Kah's response, I can definitely see where/how the other option is valid, so I can honestly change my vote at this point, assuming the issues of people being upset over not seating 100% 'fair/random' could be bypassed. That almost makes the poll 50/50, so whatever you girls think is best by consensus will work! If people have to pull certain minimums and seating is rotated after that, that could be fair. If minimum raid DPS is assigned and the raid is seated other ways (as per Kah's explanation here) that would also be fair. Bottom line is the raid group should be built to succeed, by whatever consistent standards we set, and that will be fair. :)

Also, while the nerfs have rolled in for FL, I think that clearing this up will set a positive president for future raids. :D

You're welcome to look at IC's logs. We have one from last night, and we'll have one tomorrow night. The run that goes tonight; the person who usually logs for them isn't able to make it, so I don't think they'll have logs. Plus they're VERY well geared, so it's probably not a good comparison.

I have mixed feelings about this. But deep down i know it to be true. The only reason i have mixed feelings is because 1. I know its right and really feel it needed to be said, and every week it does seem as though the same people are seated more so than others. But 2. I've always been in guilds that did this, and the majority of the time putting progression above peoples feelings yielded great(in the sense of making progress) results. But because a lot of the raiders are very unique in there own way, in the way that people with good dps have flaws as well as the ones without. In the past it was either, your perfect or you need to work on stuff. But not everyone is like that, and i am really grateful that we are not. In which i think I'm going to have to agree with you completely on your post, but i cannot propose a way in which this can be implemented right off the bat at the moment.
