BOOOYAAAA!
I just got my second PS3 platinum trophy. I have just finished Uncharted: Drake's Fortune on Crushing. I have to say I am amazed that I made it. I usually don't finish games simply because I suck. But for some reason I have managed finishing this game on all (four) difficulty levels. I had to take advantage of YouTube though. There are at least four parts that can drive anyone mad within minutes. I abused a bug for chapter 6, then used a roll tactic on an open space (don't remember the chapter) to avoid fighting. Then I found that I could actually aim while on a scooter; which made the scooter ride so much easier. That one part has pissed me off so many times before. Lastly, I found a tip on how to deal with soldiers in the last chapter, second fight. Trigger the onslaught then jump back behind the crate and take them out while hiding. I managed to find a solution to the third fight all on my own. I'm amazed. It took me about 3-4 tried before it worked. The segment starts when Nate has to avoid falling debris. He's out in the open and if lingering for more than 2 seconds, he gets shot and dies. I noticed a crate and space near the debris. I managed to hide there and take out the three soldiers and the grenade launcher while hiding. Perfect!
It was interesting watching the videos made by a certain YouTube user. He sucked even worse than I do. That was a bit refreshing. Hehe. But he gave the tips I needed to finish the game. Without it I wouldn't sit here with my platinum trophy.
The other platinum came from Assassin's Creed 2. Not a difficult game at all. Not like AC1, which I will never complete. Chapter 6 pisses me off to no end. It's not like AC2 where enemies take their time to attack. It's much easier to read the fights and counter the appropriate way. It's in my opinion impossible in AC1.
Now I have Uncharted 2: Among Thieves left. I have two difficulty levels to finish, as well as getting 200 kills with a GAU 19 (or whatever it is called). There's a spot in the final chapter where this is possible with the weapons reward. Selecting new weapons from the menu keeps an "unlimited" supply of bullets. The enemies comes pouring until Drake has set his foot on ground floor. Perfect place to get every single weapon trophy.
But now... BED!
