Today there was christmas cake fail.
Today I was supposed to be baking; this only happens if the masterchef you are baking with buys all the right ingredients *and* reads the instructions. Including the cooking time.
My Masterchef did not read the bit stating how long to cook the cakes for (and this was after she realised that she was reading the recipie for the cake that was smaller than she was intending to cook, but was however correct for me).
So after having soaked the fruit in various alchohols, we have put the fruit in boxes in her Fridge and project christmas cake will continue on Wednesday, hopefully with all the right ingredients and enough time to cook it...
