Halfway through... ~ Going easier than I thought.
Today was my Grandmothers Birthday, and whilst I was at a sewing chicks session my lovely Husband baked some fairy cakes to take round at lunchtime. They way my Gran's face lit up when we brought in a plate of fairy cakes with a candle on top and sang "happy birthday", really made my weekend.
Sometimes it's just the little things.
The rest of the day was spent at the sewing chicks weekend (of which I missed the Saturday) and I started sewing a patchwork/quilted table runner in some pretty Christmas coloured cotton fabrics. I ahve made sure I chose a simple design that I can do by myself and on my own; So far it's looking good.
Give it a few weeks and I might be able to show pictures of the finished thing :)
