ive been in sweden for a week now...
right outside of my building, as well as my building. the top balcony to the very left of the photo is me. hello.
i went to gothenburg(which is on the other side of the country) because there was to be an art show with some cool artists including remed(from my france post) who was going to be there, so i figured id go there and hang out since i hadnt made any stockholm friends yet. the night i arrived was the opening/party

a bit of the gallery. i slept on that couch, which actually provided a much better sleep than it looks.
i had kindof planned to only stay saturday night and come back to sthlm sunday, but it turns out i didnt come back until tuesday. we hung out alot, which consisted of either drawing or doing absolutely nothing.
today was my first day back in stockholm and i think it was completely wasted... i tried to go to the 'largest flea market in northern europe' but i couldnt find it. i took the subway to the very last stop, which ended up being a neighborhood filled with sketchy albanian people. i looked for the place for a little and then got scared and got back on the subway. by the time i got back to the center it was 5, so i went to seek out what was supposed to be the 'hip' area of town, but i guess i couldnt find that either. everything closes at 7 here, so i worthlessly came home, found the dvd 'ray' in the cabinet, and laid in bed watching that. for real it was a waste. it's funny though because that is what my syracuse life was like. anyways tomorrow im gonna strive to have an awesome day... the abba museum sounds nice....
