What I've learned in the five years since October 8, 2002
No one is invincible. No matter how much you love them.
Blaming one person for the loss of another when both lives are lost in an accident is unfair, unjust, and cruel to the people who loved them.
You can't stop the pain through tears, you can only deal with the pain through living.
Love unabashedly. You never know when the last hug will be.
You can't change the past, regret will get you no where.
Trust the people who let you lean on them when times are rough, and let them lean on you in return.
Always remember to breathe.
Let go of resentment, it solves nothing.
Appreciate every thing you are given, and work for everything you think you deserve. Life isn't handed to us on a golden platter, we must mine the gold, melt it, and mold it into the platter we may someday pass on.
Always, always, be thankful and appreciate every moment of life we are allowed to have.
