superman's birthday - february 29, 2008!
Hey guys! Superman's birthday has traditionally been celebrated on February 29th by many fans (although the official date is debatable), and I was hoping we could celebrate his special birthday by submitting something for worlds_finest. It can be anything! Fics, drabbles, art, icons, old comic book scans, discuss what YOU or what another DC character would buy for him, anything!
Just don't forget to include Batman somewhere when you submit your content (and please make sure to lock your WF post if it has adult content) because, well, this is the World's Finest community after all. ;)
Superman's birthday only occurs every four years, unfortunately, so try to submit a little something for the big guy if you can. Have fun!
Edit: I've created a bunch of tags* for everyone to use if they want: fanart: birthday, fanfic: birthday, fanvid: birthday, icons: birthday, and scans: birthday. And YES, you may use these tags when submitting birthday fics, art, icons, etc, for another member of this community who is having a birthday. :)

Edit2: Don't worry about being late, I'm sure Superman wouldn't mind that at all. It's the thought that counts, right? :)
Edit3: privytodoom kindly reminded me that a certain Dark Knight's birthday is February 19th. Should we celebrate both birthdays at the same time? If so, then when? Or should there be a poll and let the members vote for the date or on what we should do exactly?
Edit4: jen_in_japan suggests that we do a dual birthday on Superman's birthday (the 29th) to celebrate both Superman's and Batman's birthdays, so I think we'll go with that. Additionally, you're more than welcome to submit something just for Batman on his birthday (the 19th) and/or just for Superman on his birthday (the 29th) if that's what you prefer too.
(Sorry if you ended up feeling very confused after reading all of that. I'm still a little confused myself... LOL.)
