{Nottingham/Sherwood Forest-Day 4}

Jun 18, 2007 23:48

Heh, day four's almost over and now I post. Well, my only timekeeping device (the clock in my DS) says it's 11:50 PM; odd that that's about the right time on this world. Anywho, it's quiet here now.

cygna_hime, thanks for getting me that sword. I'm feeling a little more secure, even if I have no skill whatsoever with it.

I scared the hell out of one the locals earlier. Then again, he scared me. I was looking out the window of the rather tiny room I've been given here. With lantern lit in here, it looked awafully dark outside. I though I saw glowing eyes in the dark. Fearing it might be a Heartless waiting to for me to go to sleep so it could sneak up on me, I grabbed my sword and went after it. .____.; Turned out to be some bobcat kid playing peeping tom. Ever shine a flashlight at a wild animal at night? Makes their eyes glow doesn't it? Yeah. I know the kid was peeping because he started apologizing profusely for it and promising never to do it again when I cornered him. I told him that I caught him again I'd cut off what little tail he has. Problem is, I'll still have to check out any eyeshines I see at night because it could well be a Heartless.

And why do we foxes here have such sticky fingers? I've taken to picking up any jewels I find while I'm cleaning that have fallen out of their settings. And any munny that might have been dropped and gone unnoticed.

[[IRL, the reason this post is so late is that I get home from work around 11 PM EST. And it's ten after midnight here as I post. Did I do the tags right?]]
