Thanks for being there
I am just numb
And I don't care
Thanks for helping me
I am just mad
And I don't care
Thanks for giving
I am just selfish
And I don't care
Thanks for listening
I just can't speak
And I don't care
Thanks for talking
I just can't listen
And I don't care
Thanks for letting me down
I was expecting it
And I don't care
Thanks for pulling away
I knew it
And I don't care
Thanks for hurting me
Everyone has
And I don't care
Thanks for making me cry
The tears will dry
And I don't care
But maybe I do
Maybe I was there too
Maybe I helped you
Maybe I gave all I could
Maybe I spoke more than I could know
Maybe I listened it was just hard you know
Maybe I let you down too
Maybe I left before you
Maybe I wounded you before you hurt me too
Maybe my tears were the healing ponds for you
