ITEM! can you guess which tv personality was featured in saturday's grauniad mag Q&A?
Q: Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
A: "How's about that, then?" and "Now then, now then."
ITEM! i thought i'd made my greatest ever sandwich yesterday, w/: hovis seeded granary white, clover spread, hellmans olive oil mayo, levi roots reggae reggae sauce, rocket leaves, shredded chicken, sainsbury's spanish chorizo slices & somerfield "best ever" gammon ham
but half way through eating it, i realised something was missing - i forgot to season it - so, add some salt & pepper obv - and then thinking about it i twigged that slices of gherkin and maybe some gruyere shavings would be the perfick finishing touch ( - but i didn't have any gherkins or shavings so that was that - another dream shattered )
any recommendations or suggestions for sandwich fillings gratefully received, btw
ITEM! two irish men are working on a building site - one asks the other: "what's the difference between a girder and a joist?" - his pal replies: "goethe wrote faust whereas joyce wrote ulysses."
