sleep tonight, and may your dreams be realized
I saw this picture a few days ago on blogging.la, and figured that today would be a good day to share it. It moves me for several reasons: primarily the subject matter, of course, but also that it's a photo I've never seen before and captures a reaction in my city, my hometown of L.A. And the paper, the Herald-Examiner, shuttered in the 80s (very unfortunately; it was good competition for the L.A. Times).
