Summer
I've forgotten about this thing again. This summer....what have I done? It's been a pretty calm summer. I went with Chris and Amanda to Cincinnati in June to see a concert. Then the three of us spent a weekend in July in Chicago attending a music festival where we listened to some really good music. There was large mother drama early in the summer. Little brother Daniel has spent the last 5 weeks or so at our aunt's house in Illinois, so I've had some time to relax while at home. There's a great guy sort of in the picture if he'll keep seeing me. Brian moved off to New York to become a professor. Liz has been working a million hours a week all summer, so I haven't seen much of her. Mandi was in b-town in the spring, so I got to see her again. Jeremie and Laura were in the area in July so I hung out with them for an evening. I went to Indy and spent an evening catching up with Jane earlier this summer. This weekend I went to our class reunion where I got to spend more time catching up with people. It was actually nicer and more fun than I had expected, so that was a pleasant surprise.
Daniel comes back tomorrow as school starts Wednesday. I think I'm moving toward set in a plan to expand my usual October Toronto trip to include not only Toronto but Montreal and New York. I think I might just make it a big road trip and spend about two nights in each of the three cities. We'll see where things go.
