I'm going to be in Sikkim then heading back to Delhi via Varanasi, so I was thinking of 'cutting through' Nepal. However it'll be in early April and I believe there are elections or results or something scheduled for the 8th. Has anyone had any experience travelling in Nepal? I want to go with my brother and my Dad, independently probably to Delhi and then by train and bus to Pokhara and up to the Annapurna Circuit if we can get long enough off, most likely in late September. Inshallah...
The plan is to do the trek without a guide. Is this insanity?
