Following the cat... To Egypt's house in Egypt's land

[alright basnyn, I did the space-time jump. Forgive it's strangeness, I'm leaving Cairo and the basket market to you. I also have a funny idea. Would you humor me, and let Egypt and Tibet go for a little walk in the desert?]

"Follow me," she had said. And Tibet had, as the cat leapt forward.

The child took one limping step behind her and then he saw stars.

Well they weren't actually any stars to see. It was more like the earth suddenly pitched and tilted itself sideways downward. Hallway walls blinked into dazzling pieces of brilliant color, that were gone nearly as soon as they appeared. Then everything went black.  The next thing he became aware of was the smell of the sand. No actually, it was more like the smell of the sand and the sun and the heat; which were all wrapped up into a brittle gift. When Tibet's crutch finished its interrupted path to the ground, the child slipped forward onto his hands and knees. The sand wasn't very good terrain for this handicapped, and made the already challenging hobble even more arduous.

Tibet didn't really notice this, nor the pain. He was too distracted as he was making sand angels. He was doing it badly of course, and he didn't really know what an angel was exactly, but it was the thought that counted. (as it usually did with things that Tibet did)
His activity done, and the pain catching up, the child lay back along the ground and closed his eyes. He listened to the susurrus of the nearby city and smiled at the sky.

It's nice here Miss. Basket.  *children have an urge to name animals, Tibet gave into his urges*

*and then he sat up to look around, his curiosity again winning over the dull pain*

Look! A goat!

[the kid's intellect is dizzying, seriously]
