So I spoke with
lex_of_green on Saturday and ended up giving her a run-down of my weekly schedule. She summarized it something like this:
'So on this day you exercise, on this day you exercise, on this day you're making equipment so you can exercise more, on this day you exercise, and on this day you exercise and then leave that to go exercise.'
This isn't even taking into account the fact that, until I dumbly left my bike on a bus last Wednesday, I had been biking to all of these and pretty much anywhere else I needed to go. Also, my martial arts instructor wants me to come more often, as I need to do more self-defense training.
Perhaps I'm going for "too fit to stand trial".
Aside from that, I'm doing well on keeping up with my quota or 1,700 words per day for the November "Write a novel" month. The long edda I've been writing is done, I just need to figure out how to post it. And I need to get started on my job search.
I feel less like I'm floundering now. For about the past five months, I've felt like I've just been flailing around, not actually accomplishing anything. I feel like I'm back on my feet again, in control, and have something of a direction again. Given how mercurial I can be, this might not hold, but it's good to feel that again.
