Probably not the technical term, but it's what we're working with.

Last I checked, rabies doesn't have a cure once it's contracted. What prophylactic are you guys giving people?

Rabies doesn't have a cure once it's symptomatic. In the early stages after a bite, PEPs are highly effective.Four doses of vaccine and one of immunoglobulin.

Nice. Good to know you guys are prepared.

How long after infection does one have before it's too late?

In standard cases, ten days would generally be the most. In the city the longest development period recorded has been twelve hours.

Twelve hours. Curses are only supposed to last a few days, tops. Do you think this could be a real outbreak, not just some game of the deities'?

Wow. Well, did the symptoms disappear at the end of the week?

No, they had to be treated normally. But those were normal diseases.

And this is definitely not a normal disease. Well, guess we'll know by the end of the week.

That's the hope. Are you new?

New to the City? Not completely. New to week-long plagues? Yeah. I've been here a little less than a month.

You get more interested in how to ride it out than expecting it to make sense.
