WARNING: INFECTIOUS DISEASE
The sheep currently attacking the city are carrying a viral disease. Anyone with a sheep bite or prolonged exposure to any of the animals should report to the City Hospital immediately for post-exposure prophylaxis. Do not wait until you're showing symptoms. Otherwise stay inside if possible. Disinfect any areas that may have been contaminated by the sheep. Keep public gatherings minimal.
It is suggested public bars and restaurants close for the duration of the outbreak, if they haven't already.
[Hospital + Police Filter | Unhackable]
It's rapid-onset rabies, or something close. Infected patients are presenting with encephalitis, and viral cultures on the dead confirm. Post exposure, the infected become symptomatic within 12 hours, at which point it is too late to treat them. We have quarantine wards for the infected within the hospital, but the most we can offer at that point is sedation.
Any Hospital employees behind on their vaccinations should go to ward 7 to get caught up. Police officers involved in containing the animals should also get their jabs. Any employee suspecting they may be infected needs to get their PEP immediately.
Wards 12, 13, 14 and the mortuary are full quarantine areas. Stack bodies in the cold chamber if it becomes necessary. No incinerations until we find out if they wake up.
