What about the other sheep? The ones that aren't attacking?

Did yours grow on a plant?

No, it's one of the ones from before, when we had the plagues.

Keep it away from the ones with teeth and you should be fine.

...How long is prolonged exposure? And for that matter, how close is exposure at all?

It would be very unusual to find anyone infected by anything other than a bite, but there have been cases of aerosol-- of transmission by breathing the same air as an infected animal. If you've been close to one for any length of time it's wise to take preventative measures.

It's not just that. Someone I know is--

...I'm just afraid some of my friends might be in for some trouble, that's all. If just being around the sheep could be as harmful as being bitten by one.

Are they stuck somewhere? There are people doing their best to help, if they tell the police where they are.

Not so much stuck as besieged, I suppose. But the same could be said for just about everyone, and I'm sure my friends are much more capable of defending themselves than many other people around. I just can't help worrying, since it's about all I can do for them at the moment.

Airbourne contamination usually occurs when someone's been in a cave full of bats, or something similar. Confined spaces. If your friend is on the inside and the sheep are on the out, he should be fine.

Oh. Oh, I see, that's very good to hear, then. Good, I'm glad. That's one less thing to worry about, then.
