Damp tissues in your hand
Yet you forget why
Familiar faces surround you
While you stare and the hole in the ground where she lies
Black surrounds you
Tears stray down your face
You feel like you can't breathe
And emptiness is placed heavily on your heart
Sitting in her room,
You try to grasp onto every Memory
Every breathing moment she was alive
Every Laugh that escaped her lungs
Every time her heart stopped while you held you breathe until the doctors got her heart to start again.
You know she's gone yet you wait by the phone
Your world seems shattered
Everything is happening in slow motion
Friends say they are there for you
Yet you feel so alone
She left you alone in this world
With damp tissues in your hand
And emtiness placed on your heart
