Freeday!
One week of teaching down. There's still plenty to do, but I'm not scrambling the way I was four-three-two days ago. Of course, since it was Friday, attendance was down. The one person who gave me advance notice gets brownie points for being responsible.
By next Friday, I expect to have all the kinks out and to have these kids--er, students--kickin' some serious asterisks on some real-world texts.
But now, it's Friday and, although I've got an all-day writer's meeting tomorrow, I'm ready to kick back and relax. I'm even looking forward to the meeting, except for having to get up at the same time as on a weekday.
Now I'm going to catch up on what all my LJ friends have been up to.... ;}
