You know you've had just an excellent day of practice when your coach loses all respect for your boat... and you especially.
I blame this morning on myself.
I should have had the wherewithall to tell everyone to get their asses on the weights but I didn't.
Coach said each boat needs a hardass, and quite frankly looking at my boat I didn't think I'd have to be one.
I guess I was wrong.
But this is where it stops.
And from now on I'm doing my job if it needs to be done.
I hate myself when I'm a hardass.
But if thats what it is going to take to get the boat where we need to be then I'll do it.
We all are going to step it up because we have a hell of a lot of work to do to get where we need to be.
This season, we're only going to get as far as we want to go.

oh.
and on the note of respect.
Coach losing his repect for you should make you feel like shit.
It should make you want to curl into a ball under your bed and die.
Blaine has an entry in his lj titled "The Unexpected".
It's just a random amusing passage but look towards the bottom.
He mentions that "God and Dan are ashamed".
That should be your attitude.
Regardless of the situation.
