RAAAAGE

So. I HATE LINGUISTICS.

I'm also sick, so I probably won't be in class tomorrow, which means I won't take the exam til Tuesday/Wednesday. Yay.

I'm freaking out BIG TIME over my grades this semester. Seriously. BIG. TIME.

With all the English dept. classes, I got dates messed up and missed the annotated bibliography for Epic and Romance. That's like... 20% of my grade. I've turned in everything else, so a 3.0 in that class won't hurt my overall GPA, but still. D=

I'm also freaking out over my Victorian Lit class, although I know I shouldn't be. I've only missed the question sheet for Jane Eyre; nothing else. I've turned in everything else and gotten A's, so I'm looking at a good grade in that class. Even though I keep telling myself this, I'm still worried. c_c

Sociology is going well. I've gotten a 90 and a 94 on both tests and I just took another on Friday. So I'm not worried about that at all.

Writing in the Professional World is also going well. Turned everything in and gotten credit. Yay. <3

Linguistics... I have no idea. D= I've turned in... a few of the assignments (she never says what she's gonna collect so half the time I don't do it... also, I didn't have a book to do some of the first few) and I have no idea how I did on the first exam. I dunno where her room is and the grades are posted outside it. I think I got at least an 80% and the second exam is Monday (later in the week for me since I have BRONCHITIS or some such thing making me cough up a lung.) I just need to push through this class and be done with it. I seriously hate Linguistics and I see no point in making it a required class for English Education majors. WE DON'T TEACH IT IN HIGH SCHOOL, WHY DO I NEED TO KNOW IT AGAIN!?

I think that's all... Epic and Romance (probably 2.7-3.0), Victorian Lit (3.5-3.7), Writing in the Professional World (3.7-4.0), Sociology (3.3-3.5), Linguistics (3.0-3.3) so I'm looking at... what, between a 3.2 and a 3.5 for the semester? I have a 3.66 cumulative, so that'll bring me down to a 3.5 at most. I always think I'll do worse than I actually do... but we'll see.

God, look at me complaining over my semester average of 3.2. I'M SO DUMB.

Sorry. ^^; I just get really paranoid; my parents pressure me to do well because of my scholarship (which I'll only lose if I drop below 3.25 cumulative... this semester isn't going to do that, I know).

My manga list grew a little... but it's coming along. I caught up with Soul Eater and I'm alllllmost finished with Demon Diary, so that's another one to cross off the list. I think I'm going to start InuYasha and read it periodically... that bastard is 558 chapters. X______X KILL ME NOW PLS. The really long ones will probably come last (other than Basara. I LOVE BASARA. *is probably reading that after Princess*Princess and Princess*Princess Plus*) just so I can get everything else out of the way.

I should NOT have gone to Comic City/Borders with Candace and made this list... nonono. *shakes head*

Uhm... my writing. c_c It's alive in my rp's with Alicia and our paragraph game, but not anywhere else, really. WHICH IS SAD. Although I'm writing Anita/Lavi for dgm_fuh_q. Yay weird pairings? I think so.

This is like... the first time I've ever been too busy for my writing/reading. D= Luckily, next semester isn't so full of English department classes and CLASSES FULL OF HATE. (AKA History of English and Victorian Lit)

Oh. Got my first paycheck from Michaels. I'm only making $7.50. That's the lowest I've been paid since I worked at Joanne's in 2007. Boo. Although, it's money I'm not getting elsewhere, so it'll do. I work 12:30-5:30 on Black Friday. Cash register. CAN HAS BACK BRACE, PLEASE!?

I almost left work early today. My first 5 hour shift since like... 3 weeks ago. But I was coughing and I felt REALLY weak and shaky and kinda dizzy. So that wasn't good. But I got through it and was okay, although I'm still weak and COUGHING UP A LUNG right now. c_c

I think that's about all for me. THANKSGIVING, HOOOO.
