1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
Rode a train for the first time and took it everywhere! Went to Boston. Work an internship. Began hooping
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make them really. I did find a piece of paper the other day written December 27th, 2008 detailing how I wanted my daily routine to be in 2009 and I didn't stick to that.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not at all.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope.
5. What countries did you visit?
None.
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009 ?
More inspiration and more self confidence.
7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
August 1st. Probably one of my biggest regrets happened on that day. I quit the bakery and it did not go so hot.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
School accomplishments. Moving into my larger apartment. My internship at Fence
9. What was your biggest failure?
Quitting the bakery the way I did. I lost touch with so many great people and I miss my old life. If I could go back I would change it.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Wisdom teeth were pulled
11. What were the best things you bought?
My apartment.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Drew because he calms me out of my crazy anxiety and makes me happy
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My mother. That is a constant in my life. I just feel cheated out of having a real mother.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills and Food
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Fresh new starts. Visiting places. School stuff.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Sadder. I didn't do anything this year that I planned and I have come away from it with too many regrets.
ii. thinner or fatter? The same, unfortunately. I wanted to lose weight.
iii. richer or poorer? Poorer. Four months without a job will do that to you.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Wrote more fiction and hung out with my friends more, especially towards the end of the year.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Eating and playing computer games.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Spent it at Olive Garden with Drew's family
22. Did you fall in love in 2000?
Been with the same guy since 2005. Four years!
23. How many one-night stands?
None.
24. What was your favorite TV program?
True BLood.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Not at all.
26. What was the best book you read in 2009?
Oh wow. Umm, The Thirteenth Tale. (I think that was this year). It helped me to fall in love with reading again.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
I discovered so much!
28. What did you want and get?
I got a larger apartment. I got an internship at a publishing company/literary journal

Happily ever after life on Lark Street.

Umm, I can't remember what came out this year!
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
21. So many people came over to my apartment. We had cake and Bombers it was the highlight of my year.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Controlling my temper and keeping my mouth shut.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009?
Couldn't buy much clothes so I was very laid back. T-shirt and jeans.

Don't really care.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Pretty much every single one. Living in the capital of New York State is high stress enough. New York has not had an easy year with its politicians. I often got angry at the ignorance of other people though and the hate that general people had towards the idea of health care.
37. Who did you miss?
Old college friends who I no longer see.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
Victoria this Fall. It was nice to be hanging out with someone
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009.
