Friday at last...
I obviously need a sleeping puppy icon as a userpic. Oh that's right--I have a BORDER COLLIE. Sleep???? Perfect waste of time that could be spent THROWING THE BALL!

She is gradually learning manners. Or maybe J is finally figuring out cause and effect--as in, wind up the puppy by playing rough and then don't bitch about her playing rough back.
She still doesn't like the big kennel out back (at least not when the gate is closed! open it's a wonderful place of exploration!) but we're going to make her spend some time this weekend to acclimate her.
On the upside, she is really NOT fouling her inside kennel when I'm gone all day at work, and it's been LONG days this week.
She's eating less, but that could be the heat, or just a slowdown of growth; J thinks she got longer, but I don't see it. I hope her head grows a little more, because right now it's a little out of proportion, kind of like a cartoon dog.
Oh look, here she comes with a ball... what a surprise!
She has decided that it's great fun to run five or six laps around the yard each night and then snuggle in for an ear scratch.
Anyway, I'm exhausted, she's not, and of course I have work to do this weekend. Hopefully there will be something fun on BBC as I'm pulling reports together and finishing evaluations. And, of course, throwing the ball.
