(no subject)
at this point i guess i just have to laugh.
luck and good fortune never come as just that, they're always laced with some form of humiliation.
this morning i got a phone call from a talent agent that i worked with in the past. She was contacting me to offer me extra work in a cablevision commercial. the good part is i really like doing commercials, and extra work is the best because it's not stressful and the focus isn't on you. you can fool around a bit. the other cool part is i'm getting paid for 2 days more than i would make in two days at work.
the not fun parts are...i'm gonna have to call out sick or think of some lame reason to have the 2 days off...i really wanted to convince my boss to give me off the saturday before easter but thats not gonna happen if i use 2 sick days. and the reaaallly lame part is i have to wear a unitard!...well i guess it all depends on how cool the unitard is. i'm really really hoping that everyone in the commercial is wearing one and i'm not being cast as "out of shape lady that sqeezes her rolls into a latex suit"
anyways. it'll either be a lot of fun, or i'll just chicken out.
in other news. i don't have school for the week and a half.
tomorrow night (so long as i don't have to work late) we are having a really romantic night. there is this amazing little trendy restaurant around the corner from us that we are going to go to. i've only ever had take out from there once and another time i hung out in there den for "twin peaks and donuts" night. so it;ll be nice to sit down and have a real meal there. then we are going to come home and pretend like we have a hotel room. (when we first started dating we would get hotel rooms at the hilton so that we could eat in the bed and walk around in our underwear, and occasionally have really loud sex) we're gonna light candles and put on music and just have a really awesome night.
i'm psyched. i really hope i don't build it up in my head and then become disappointed.
anyways. i should get to work. keep an eye out for my butt in a leatard!
