okay, so I just read all nineteen chapters of this (all at once, too), and it's so adorable and I love it and there were lots of things i wanted to say... but I've forgotten most of it because, no kidding? Yesterday I was writing a jack/liz fic where Meerkat Manor is heavily mentioned! ("Just because you enjoy watching Meerkat Manor doesn't mean we should do a whole show where real live meerkats do all the sketches!" "What if you had that kid with the funny hair give them voices like those mice in cinderelle?" "no, Jack. just no." an actual quote from the fic XD great minds think alike ( ... )

Yesss! Great minds definitely DO think alike, hahaha. Props for the Meerkat Manor mention in your own :D

I'm glad you like this fic, because honestly, premise-wise? I wasn't sure it would go over well. I wasn't sure if I could make it even *remotely* plausible (because when I started writing it, I was in the obsessed-fangirl phase of my shipping, where any moment I saw, I just wanted them to be married). Glad you thought I pulled it off. It always means a lot!

(And you're right -- it's extremely hard to get them past the banter, haha! You just gotta make 'em kiss. And then they like it, hahaha)

Awww! Oh my gosh, I am squeeing all over the place. A long time ago, back when I first got into 30 Rock, one of the things that drew me most to Jack/Liz was the fact that although on the surface they're so different from one another, when you really get down to the bottom of things, they are the exact same kind of dorky. And something just clicks. And with them being all snuggly and the popcorn and the meerkats and Jack being ridiculously excited -- this chapter just, like, shone with that. Not to mention, y'know, SPOONING.

Oh, fic, how I adore thee. :D

Hehehehe! Thanks so much, babe, as usual! You are so right about the Jack/Liz clicking, btw. I always thought they had neat chemistry, but by the time Jack pulled Liz onto her chair to show her the panda video, I was convinced they were totally dorky soulmates :D

And my mom enjoys Meerkat Manor every once in awhile, and I thought it would be such a Jack thing to love. JAAAACCCKKKK. *pounces on him* Seriously, I need to stop writing Jack/Liz for awhile, else I will fall hopelessly in love wit him. *giggle*

Also? JACK/LIZ SPOONING FTW. Heee! More soon!

Yay for the meerkats.
This chapter was so many levels of awesome I can't even count them.
With the Liz asking Jack to stay, to the TiVo (which is without a doubt the eighth wonder of the world), and the spooning!

As far as the eighth wonder of the world goes... I'm torn between TiVo, and iTunes. I can't choose!!! They're both miraculous in their own ways :D

This one left me sad, but in a good way. You have such skill at creating little Jack/Liz moments that, while not overtly romantic, are really touching in the context of their characters.
Also, Liz would totally be Belle, since Jack is sort of a mix of Gaston and the Beast, for various reasons. Jenna is so insightful, lol.
And Lemon's jetlag leading to spooning was totally believable, because it can leave you feeling drunk sometimes.
"This'll all be over soon."> Both for what Jack reffers to, and in reference to this fic, I have a have a love/hate relationship with this sentence.

Awww, thank you so much! I was hoping that jetlag -> spooning thing would be believable. She's Liz. I figure I could always chalk it up to her denial :D Liz + Denial = OTP. *giggle*

And you're right! Jack is totally the Beast & Gaston! Awwww.

More soon! I've finished writing the entire fic, and was able to bring it to a close at 24 chapters. So, five left!
