okay, so I just read all nineteen chapters of this (all at once, too), and it's so adorable and I love it and there were lots of things i wanted to say... but I've forgotten most of it because, no kidding? Yesterday I was writing a jack/liz fic where Meerkat Manor is heavily mentioned! ("Just because you enjoy watching Meerkat Manor doesn't mean we should do a whole show where real live meerkats do all the sketches!" "What if you had that kid with the funny hair give them voices like those mice in cinderelle?" "no, Jack. just no." an actual quote from the fic XD great minds think alike?)

Seriously though, I do love this fic, it's so incredibly cute, it makes me happy :) I was a little dubious about the premise at first, although i think if we're honest with ourselves, everyone who ships jack/Liz wished he would have at lease *asked* her. But reading it totally proved me wrong. Mucho kudos for pulling it off. and for getting Jack and Liz to actually make out a couple chapters back - surpirisingly hard to get them past banter, I've found...

I'm glad you like this fic, because honestly, premise-wise? I wasn't sure it would go over well. I wasn't sure if I could make it even *remotely* plausible (because when I started writing it, I was in the obsessed-fangirl phase of my shipping, where any moment I saw, I just wanted them to be married). Glad you thought I pulled it off. It always means a lot!

(And you're right -- it's extremely hard to get them past the banter, haha! You just gotta make 'em kiss. And then they like it, hahaha)
