Yesterday, I met all my food goals:
-I ate 2 healthy meals
-I ate fair portions
-I drank lots of water+fiber
I felt like the water+fiber really helped!!! I felt very content. Except after eating the burger and fries. I felt dissatisfied afterwards and still hungry. Even though it was beef.
Most of the day, I felt full, energized, and content. I didn't experience a lot of lag, and I did eat olive oil.
What I had for lunch was angel hair marinara with squash. It was delicious, and very healthy. I don't even think I exceeded my calories for the day with all the food I ate! I even had dessert: 3 wafer cookies! I saved $3 for Heifer International :) I am so excited to give to them.
Today is a new day: yesterday my only goal was to eat 1 healthy meal. I think I still want to keep the same goal for a while, until hitting 2 isn't a strain.
Drinking water+fiber while cooking really made eating fair portions significantly easier. And it kept me full all day long. I felt great. I think its going to be my go-to drink from now on. Maybe even when I eat out. They have Benefiber to-go packs. I could also take a small Tupperware though...
I don't think I am going to do nightly reflections, though. It's easier to reflect in the morning, and I have more to reflect on.
So, my goals for the day are basically the same
- Eat at least 1 healthy meal
- Eat fair portions
- Drink water+fiber
These might remain my goals for a while.
You're doing great, Self! I think we might have finally found a system that works for us!
