DR SNAPE REVEALS THE SECRETS OF MUGGLE BEAUTY PRODUCTS

Parabens

Parabens, such as methylparaben, ethylparaben, butylparaben and propylparaben are used in cosmetics and various kinds of food as preservatives. They are cheap to produce, which explains why they are used so widely. They also have anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, and they are non-toxic. You can even find parabens in natural sources such as blueberries. Parabens are very common ingredients in water-based skincare products such as lotions.

Dr Snape thinks this group of ingredients deserves an E (Exceeds Expectations)
I would give parabens an O, if they weren't produced synthetically for industrial uses.
