Well, something is blowing in the wind...

...whether or not it's the answer, I can't say. Or possibly the answer is "my neighbors' empty trash cans," because that's what's currently blowing around out there. I'm staying inside, where it's safe.

I'm just pausing to note that it was 63 degrees* outside my front door when I got up this morning, and it's 70 now. I don't say this to make light of the nastiness that was recently visited on my friends in the Pacific Northwest, and then the Midwest. I point this out because that weather is on its way here now, meaning that it's going to drop about 40 degrees overnight, and that means huge, gusty winds, which means broken branches and debris, and around here, it means a decent chance of a power outage. Still, how often do you get to go outside on December 1 without a jacket?

* That's 17, for all you foreigner types. And no, I'm certainly not geeky enough to have an indoor/outdoor wireless remote weather station with a transmitter right outside my door. elora_c and I, together, are very much that geeky.
