I just checked my stats and my first three podcast episodes have been downloaded a total of 170 times in the last three weeks. And I have played three cuts from Pause between the three shows.
So technically, you guys have played a good sized pub show audience in the last three weeks without even being there! Egads! If the podcast actually became popular, you guys might reach stadium size audiences in a weird sort of cumulative way.
I know things are not how they once were, Rome. But I hope someday to hear your fingers and heart play again. However that might happen, if it ever does, would be a high point in this mortal path I am walking.
Your fingers were really working some magic when you guys worked on the second album.
I sat down with Jeff and he had the patience to listen through my first episode cut with me and gave me some advice. When we reached the part where I played Captain's Daughter, despite having sung the song countless times, he was laughing his ass off with me as the song played. There is just a special magic with that tune. It never fails me make me at least smile.
May the Multiverse keep you and your extra-special wife safe, warm and prosperous.
