This was so cute! They were just so adorable together! (Either that, or I'm still not-quite-awake yet, and everything looks cute) ^^;

I love Hikaru No Go, but it's so hard to find good fics - so thanks so much for sharing! :)

Hah, well I hope they were actually adorable and that your sleep haze didn't just make it seem that way...but I'd be good either way, I suppose. ;)

I know, I've only recently started looking. Glad to be able to write something enjoyable! Thank you.

Fics in the Hikago fandom are far and away amazing. I really recommend starting with tok0's "Frankenpost" of recs (linked at the top of his lj). Though I personally hate the fic he has at the very top of the list, the list overall is an excellent, excellent place to start looking for high-quality Hikago fic. There's a bunch.

When you've exhausted that list, best_of_hikago should be your next stop. I'm very sad it's no longer updated, but there are tons of good fics there.

issen4 tends to report just about every passably well-written Hikago fic that comes along in fandom so you can skip the big comms and just follow her journal if you want to know what's been written recently.

And finally, my personal rec to you is to read everything thehoyden and mousapelli write for the Hikaru no Go fandom. Both of them are amazing.

Haha, you're very welcome! Also, if you haven't finished watching the series yet, feel free to help yourself.

Oh, thanks for posting those recs! I've been reading up on mousapelli's fic (slowly) but haven't known where else to look other than hikarunogo for more reading material. I really appreciate this. :)

Yeah, it's always hard coming into a new fandom unless you have friends ahead of you to sort of show you the ropes, I think. There needs to be some sort of general fandom road map for people first entering fandoms.

I guess that's where I've been lucky, since it's usually someone going "hey, I have a fandom you should try and here are links to fanfic when you're done watching/reading" that gets me to try something. But a fandom guide sounds like a really good idea! I've seen one or two around for PoT (actually, I think one of them is yours) but not anything for other anime fandoms I've been trying. I'm sort of tempted to do one for Bleach since that's my favourite fandom and I've been collecting links for personal perusal as it is.

Did it take a long time to do yours for the TezuRyo stuff? Haha, I guess I'll find out if/when I try.

I haven't actually done anything specifically for TezuRyo yet (I'm supposed to do that for ship_manifesto next month and OH MY GOD. NOT READY. SHIP TOO BIG. TOO MUCH TO SAY.)

My guide for Tenipuri fandom was HUGE (it's tagged on my journal under pot+intro, in, I think 7 separate posts overall.) because there was so much to cover and it was so confusing and really potentially mind-boggling, so it really was quite an endeavor. I probably spent a good 6 weeks overall gathering links and organizing them and sorting through information and getting help from people. That was 6 weeks working on and off, but probably the biggest task was just figuring out how to organize everything, and reading through basically every ship in the fandom to figure out what I wanted to rec as "representative" fics.

I don't think I could do that again for just any fandom, haha. The idea of even attempting TezuRyo is really daunting me at the moment, if you can't tell.
