Finished but not yet blocked is the (perhaps ambitiously named) Frost Flowers stole, pattern from String Theory.
Were I to knit this pattern again I would really NOT knit it, because I would give it a total overhaulCenter out square-in-the-round, mitered appropriately
- Use the leaf motif as the center of a large square; maintain alternate bead colors on the leaf stems
- Use the four-row faggotting as a wide border; one color of beads per diagonal, alternating
- Add a leaf lace edging - beaded of course - incorporating all bead colors used in the main shawl
This was an easy knit, and a nice introduction to an alternate bead placement method to the one I've tried and failed at miserably.
Photos in a day or 12 when my foot feels like creeping around on the floor for a couple of hours to pin the thing out properly.

2 full tubes plus oddments of 6 additional colors of #6 glass beads, makers and colors assorted
4mm Addi lace needle
1.3mm crochet hook
