YOU KNOW YOU LIVE IN THE COUNTRY WHEN……
Today Trenton really wanted to play outside and it was a really nice day. We were both hot and he REALLY wanted to splash in the water. This is of course hard to do, I can’t just turn on a sprinkler because his wheelchair can’t get that wet or it can get damaged.
I got a new water trough for the animals that is really tall and it is in the yard still. The other day I filled it to see if it would hold water because I got it free second hand. Trenton rolled over and started playing in it having a blast. It was perfect height to roll next to it and play in the water from his chair.
So I think what the heck and go find him some old bath toys and anything waterproof and floatable and we had a blast playing in the horse trough together. Who needs a kiddy swimming pool when you can play in horse drool water!
The whole time the lady was over riding Lakota we were out splashing in horse drool water and it was so much fun! I feel like such a damn hick, I think they make jokes about this sort of thing!
